Wonka played the Westport Country Playhouse in January 2006. Meeting Mr. Newman and Ms. Woodward and their grandchildren was a highlight of our first year of tour....
Thanks for posting this. I got teary this morning when I read he had died. We watched 'Cars' last night and I kept thinking just how cool Paul Newman is and then I woke up to find out this news. He was a wonderful example of how to be in Hollywood without being in Hollywood and his legacy will endure. And his light balsamic vinaigrette is my favorite.

Newman was an absolute cool guy - on stage and off. I envy that you had the chance to meet him.
